1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Termify mobile application (the "App"), operated by BipBoo Corporation ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Termify App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the App. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
Termify is a 100% free professional English learning application designed to help users master industry-specific terminology. The App provides:
- 4,230+ professional English terms across 6 industries
- Aviation English: ICAO standard terminology for pilots, cabin crew, and ATC professionals
- Maritime English: IMO SMCP vocabulary for deck officers, engineers, and port operators
- Logistics English: Supply chain, freight forwarding, and customs terminology
- Finance English: Banking, investment, accounting, and CFA-level vocabulary
- Cybersecurity English: ISO 27001, NIST, and security operations terminology
- IT/DevOps English: Cloud computing, CI/CD, infrastructure, and software engineering terms
Additional features include native speaker pronunciation, IPA phonetic transcriptions, real-world usage examples, career quizzes with certification-aligned questions, spaced repetition learning, and progress tracking across all modules.
The App is provided at no cost. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or hidden fees. All content and features are available to all users without payment.
3. User Obligations
By using Termify, you agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content
- Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks
- Not use automated systems (bots, scrapers, or similar tools) to access the App for any purpose without our express written permission
- Not misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us
- Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations
4. Intellectual Property
BipBoo Corporation owns all intellectual property rights in and to the Termify App, including but not limited to:
- The Termify name, logo, and brand identity
- All term definitions, translations, usage examples, and educational content
- Audio recordings of native speaker pronunciations
- Quiz content, scoring algorithms, and certification-aligned question sets
- User interface designs, icons, and visual elements
- Software code, databases, and technical architecture
All content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.
Industry standards referenced in the App (such as ICAO, IMO SMCP, ISO 27001, NIST frameworks, and CFA terminology) are the property of their respective organizations. Termify references these standards for educational purposes in accordance with fair use principles.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Termify App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties of accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content
- Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation
While we strive to ensure accuracy of all professional terminology, definitions, and translations, the App is intended as an educational tool and should not be used as the sole reference for professional certification examinations or safety-critical operations. Users should verify critical terminology through official industry sources.
We do not guarantee that the App will meet your specific requirements, that results obtained from use of the App will be accurate, or that defects in the App will be corrected within a specific timeframe.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BipBoo Corporation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Personal injury or property damage resulting from your use of the App
- Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in App content
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any interruption or cessation of the App's availability
Since the Termify App is provided at no cost, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us, which is zero (USD $0.00).
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which BipBoo Corporation is established, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached through negotiation, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the relevant jurisdiction.
9. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
